Topical application of essential oils:

Essential oils are easily absorbed into the bloodstream when applied to the skin. Essential oils are usually diluted with a neutral carrier oil, such as jojoba oil. This helps prevent possible skin irritation and premature evaporation of the oil.

Dilution for topical use (drops/carrier oil): infants 0.3% (1 drop/1 tablespoon), children 1% (1 drop/1 teaspoon), adults 2-4% (3-6 drops/1 teaspoon)

After diluting it, apply the oil to the targeted body part, then rub it into your skin. This improves blood flow and oil absorption.

Avoid using essential oils on damaged skin or near sensitive areas such as the eyes.
